Family fun and fireworks made for a fantastic Fourth of July celebration for Spa Blast 2009 at Oaklawn Park on Friday.

“It was really important to us with the economy like it is, that we provided something where everyone could afford to bring their family,” said Matt Clement, director of sales and events at Oaklawn Park.

With free admission and low costs on food, Clement said Oaklawn really wanted to provide a family oriented fun time that could be affordable as well.
