Hot Springs Village woman killed in wreck

A Hot Springs Village woman was killed and a teenager injured in a one-vehicle accident early Sunday on Highway 5 in Saline County.

Debra A. Chambliss, 45, driving a 2005 Ford Taurus, was reportedly southbound on Highway 5 shortly before 8 a.m. about half a mile north of Highway 9 when she failed to negotiate a curve, lost control and struck a tree, an Arkansas State Police report states. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
