Hang-up 911 call leads to meth lab

Hot Springs police officers checking on a 911 hang-up call reportedly discovered a methamphetamines lab in a garage Sunday afternoon, leading to the arrest of a local man.

Jerry Lee Izard, 44, was taken into custody at 208 Mote St. and charged with a felony count of possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture meth, punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
