Beginning Oct. 1, airline passenger service will resume at Hot Springs Memorial Field.

Portland-based SeaPort Airlines announced Monday that it has accepted the U.S. Department of Transportation’s amended proposal to provide essential air service to Hot Springs, Harrison, Jonesboro, and El Dorado/Camden.

George Downie, airport director, said Tuesday that representatives from each of the cities will meet with SeaPort officials later this week to iron out some concerns.
