County to put fence around salvage yard

Owner awarded $1.47 in tax refund

John Grise, owner of Grise Auto Sales & Salvage Inc., 1100 S. Moore Road, said he might sue the county following an order filed Tuesday by Garland County Judge Larry Williams.

“We’ll just have to see what happens, but I’m sure we’re going to go to court,” he said.

After being compensated by the county for part of his property, which was acquired through the power of eminent domain to make way for a bridge replacement project over Little Mazarn Creek, Grise asked Williams to rebuild his business’s fence.
