Rep. Gene Shelby, D-District 25, left, of Hot Springs and Sen. Jimmy Jeffress, D-District 24, of Crossett, were each recognized recently by the National Transportation Safety Board at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock for their work on teen driver legislation in Arkansas. Act 394, sponsored by Jeffress and co-sponsored by Shelby, provides guidelines to improve driving safety for minors.
