The stage sizzled during the second night of Miss Arkansas preliminary competitions Thursday at Summit Arena with several popular performances during the always hot artistic expression in talent competition.

Miss Spirit of Arkansas Lauren English was a crowd-pleaser with her vocal performance of “Circle of Life,” and Miss Northwest Arkansas Kimberly Smith brought down the house with her acro/jazz performance to “Proud Mary.”
