A suit filed by District 4 Director Carroll Weatherford, attempting to halt a special election for the purpose of whether or not he should be recalled, has been set for a hearing.

According to records at the Garland County Circuit Clerk’s office, the hearing will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Garland County Juvenile Court, 607 Ouachita Ave., with retired Judge John Lineberger presiding.

Additionally, two motions to dismiss and one to intervene have been filed.
