For the past 20 years, Spa Area Independent Living Services, a center for independent living, has assisted people with disabilities throughout the Garland County community.

To commemorate its milestone, as well as the 19th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act, an open-house celebration will be held Friday at SAILS, 621 Albert Pike Road. The public is welcome.
