Man faces felonies after standoff
![]() POLICE STANDOFF: Officers with the Hot Springs Police Department surround a residence at 1011 Hobson Ave. where a local man, Kevin Deshaun Everett, 29, was allegedly holding his girlfriend against her will. The suspect surrendered but later faced charges for allegedly attacking his girlfriend, her brother and a police detective. Kevin Deshaun Everett, 29, of 1011 Hobson Ave., was taken into custody at his residence around 12:15 p.m. and later charged with third-degree domestic battery, second offense, aggravated assault and second-degree battery, the latter charge stemming from allegations he punched a detective after his arrest.
