PARAGOULD – Gallie and Mary Charles are continuing their efforts to clean up historic Clark Cemetery. The couple said they along with volunteers have made progress to preserve the piece of Greene County history, but there is still much left to do.

The couple helped organize a day in April where volunteers from their church and others in the community can help with the cleanup effort. Mary Charles said there were about 18 volunteers working in the cemetery that day. Gallie Charles said that he has made about 10 trips to the cemetery to continue the effort.
