Community supports efforts of area food bank

COMMUNITY PARTNERS: Project Hope Food Bank Executive Director Ted Thompson at the Gaines Avenue facility on Wednesday. Thanks in part to its community support, the food bank is able to serve 29 area agencies in four counties.

Since Project HOPE Food Bank opened its doors less than a year ago at 915-B Gaines Ave., the community has supported its efforts to provide low-cost food to area pantries and shelters by donating time, food and funds.
