Highway 128 delays

expected during roadwork

A contractor will begin work today on Highway 128 (Carpenter Dam Road) from the intersection of Shady Grove Road to the King Expressway.

Expect delays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Nov. 13, said Martin Marietta Materials Inc., the highway contractor.

Personnel will be flagging traffic and delays can be expected throughout the day. The roadwork will include clearing, earth work, pipe work, and installation of concrete.
