![]() HOUSE CALL: Dr. Gene Shelby, the Garland County Health Unit’s health officer, discusses how to fight the seasonal and swine flues with parents and staff at Jessieville Sports Arena on Tuesday. Shelby was speaker for Jessieville School District’s first installment of a monthly “Brown Bag Lunch and Learn.” Dr. Gene Shelby, who is also serving his second term as the democratic state representative for District 25, spoke at the school district’s first installment of the “Brown Bag Lunch and Learn” series that kicked off with a discussion about the seasonal and swine flu. “Overall, I think people are doing a better job of hand washing this flu season because of coverage surrounding H1N1,” he said.
