A Hot Springs woman was charged with a misdemeanor count of negligent homicide Monday after an Arkansas State Police investigation into a traffic accident in which a local man was killed two months ago.

Christi Lynn Brown, 20, who lists an address of 190 Cluster Springs Trail, was formally charged shortly before 2 p.m. and released a short time later on $1,000 bond pending an appearance set for Nov. 24 in Hot Springs District Court. If convicted, she could face up to one year in jail and/or up to a $1,000 fine.
