LITTLE ROCK – Amid the recession, 1,868 state employees are making $100,000 or more this fiscal year, up 129 from last year.

At the pinnacle again is Coach Bobby Petrino, making $2.7 million as football coach at the University of Arkansas. He’s followed by another UA coach, John Pelphrey, paid $1.245 million as basketball coach.
