Dreams of high-flying aircraft started with the Wright brothers more than a century ago and have continued to intrigue generations of students, like those enrolled in National Park Community College’s aerospace manufacturing and repair course.

The non-credit class was established last year with a U.S. Department of Labor grant NPCC received through the Arkansas Association of Two-Year Colleges Aerospace Consortium, as well as an economic incentive grant used to purchase training equipment and materials to improve the program.
