Dear editor:

How often have we have heard the expression, “Pie in the sky?” Isn’t that what we keep hearing from current Washington politicians, “Pie in the sky” programs that keep feeding the national debt that keeps growing and growing? A debt that you and your children will be saddled with for decades. “Pie in the sky” that keeps eroding individual freedoms that our forefathers established long ago.

We no longer can claim that we are a Christian nation. Now we have to say that America has been “arrogant and domineering in the world.” We now have to consider ourselves...
