Dear editor:

On June 25, Congress grilled Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. It was trying to determine if Bernanke and Secretary of Treasury Henry Paulson threatened Bank of America. It is alleged that Bernanke and Paulson told Bank of America execs they would be fired if they did not agree to acquiring Merrill Lynch, which was failing due to the mortgage crisis. Is that called manipulation?
