Dear editor:

With interest, I have been reading the letters from Americans and the rhetoric from politicians about the “broken” health care system. The current health care system is far from perfect; indeed, it is flawed and corrupt, but not “broken.” And Washington can’t fix it - what have they done right on a large scale in the past half-century?

American citizens can fix it, however. Is your insurance too high? Cancel it, and tell them you are going to shop around. If enough people do this, in a capitalist society, believe me, the insurance companies will start makin...
