Dear editor:

As an observer, I am concerned where our country is heading. It appears we are beginning a period of wealth redistribution that has me troubled. The almost unbroken period of gain and prosperity in the past 30 years is coming to an end.

Our legislators are overspending and over-borrowing, from foreigners no less. You would think they would have learned a lesson from the American consumer. The immediate casualty it going to be the U.S. dollar and that’s what alarms me.
