Dear editor:

As I read letters and more about the health care debate, I notice how some people like to defend their beliefs by saying how Christian they are or by bringing God into the matter.

Now I’m by no means a religious person, but even I know from reading the Bible, Jesus never asked anyone he healed if they were in his HMO’s network. I’m also pretty sure not one of the 12 disciples ever harassed anyone for their insurance card before receiving Jesus’ healing touch.

A little food for thought people. I mean, isn’t to be a Christian to follow the path Je...
