I have read numerous letters regarding health care.

I am an old man who grew up on a farm in Nebraska. We were rather poor with few modern conveniences. There were no health care insurance policies we could afford back then. Consequently, health care consisted primarily of a dedicated country doctor who would travel out to the farm for a small fee. Of course, he would only be called if it became very serious.

I almost died a few times when I was a child. It did give me a great immune system, since I was a lucky one who made it through. There we...
