Women’s Welcome Club will hold a business meeting/luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hot Springs Country Club. Clyde Covington, president of Garland County Historical Society, will present a program on “The First 50 Years of the Historical Society.”

A Hot Springs native, Covington graduated from Hot Springs High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hendrix College and Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
