Don and Hettie Luella Wilson Brooks celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Saturday.

The couple were married Oct. 30, 1954, at First Methodist Church in Hot Springs with the Rev. Ed Galloway officiating.

They are the parents of Tim Brooks, Rodney Brooks and Missie Kramer; grandparents of Lynlee Brooks McMillan, MeLisa Brooks Pate, Brooks Perry, Brandon Perry, Tyler Brooks, and Wade Brooks and great-grandparents of Olivia Pate, Eli Pate, Campbell McMillan, and Gavin Perry.
