Former members of Company “A” 489th Engineer Battalion Army Reserve Unit are reminded of the free spaghetti dinner at the Elks Lodge (see below).

Wednesday, a veterans memorial service will be observed at the new Veterans Memorial in Transportation Plaza at 11 a.m.; The Sentinel-Record, 300 Spring St., will honor veterans with a reception from 2-4 p.m.; and a parade will start at the north end of Central Avenue at 6:30 p.m.

Members will meet at Perkins restaurant at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13. It is hoped that as many as can will attend any or all these activities. Call Bob...
