LITTLE ROCK – Sixteen Arkansas police agencies, including Hot Springs, are to get about $8.7 million in federal grant money, allowing some agencies to increase patrols. But not departments will be getting checks.

Hot Springs will receive $321,522, according to a press release from the office of the vice president.

Of the money announced Tuesday, Little Rock is to receive the most – $3 million.
