JACKSON, Miss. – Running back Anthony Dixon, Mississippi State’s top returning offensive player, was arrested over the weekend and his status for the season is unclear.

An arrest report from the Starkville Police Department says Dixon was charged with driving under the influence after officers found him intoxicated late Saturday night with two empty champagne bottles on the floorboard of his car.
