Smokin’ in Style dishes out excellence

CAREER CHANGE: Barbecuing started out as a “hobby” for Daniel Johnson. After winning some competitions, he started a small catering business. Today, he is the owner of the award-winning restaurant, Smokin’ in Style BBQ.

Smokin’ in Style BBQ , located at 2278 Albert Pike, is open to serve award-winning Memphis style barbecue to its customers Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. It is closed Monday.
