Allie Aldean Hickman, 83, of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at home.

Born Nov. 17, 1925, in Lumberton, Miss., to Barney and Marinda Lee Bond, she was predeceased by two grandchildren, Leann Hickman and Dewayne Hickman.

Survivors include one daughter, Brenda West; two sons, Richard Hickman and Larry Hickman; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The service will be 10 a.m. today in Joplin Cemetery, Joplin.

Arrangements are by Thornton Funeral Home, Mount Ida.
