Harold Dean Howell, age 62, of Hot Springs, died Monday, July 6, 2009.

He was born on July 7, 1946, at Bismarck, the son of Henry Howell and Edna Brown Howell. On Sept. 26, 1969, he was married to Mary Sheets. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Ronald Dean Howell; and one sister, Mary Frances Oliver.

He was a member of the Phillipi Church of Christ and retired from Arkansas Aluminum Alloys after 32 years.
