ELK CITY, Okla. – Barbara J. Culliver, 76, of Elk City, Okla., formerly of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009.

Born June 23, 1933, in Butterfield, to Charles and Francis Moody Carpenter, she attended Church of Christ and was a homemaker. She was predeceased by three brothers, Mark Carpenter, Lawrence Carpenter and Floyd Carpenter, and one sister, Virginia Bates.
