PEARCY – William “Willie” J. Berg, 70, of Pearcy, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009.

Born Dec. 10, 1938, in Waseca, Minn., to Henry M. and Eleanor Hutmacher Berg, he was a U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran, worked for North Central Airlines as a systems program analyst and served in the Army National Guard. He was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Janet Underwood Berg, of Pearcy; one sister, Sister Gretchen Berg, of Assisi Heights Convent, Rochester, Minn.; nieces; and nephews.
