HOLIDAY ISLAND – Margaret Polk, a resident of Holiday Island, Ark., and formerly of Green Forest, Ark., and longtime resident of Little Rock, Ark., was born Feb. 14, 1916, a daughter of John J. and Ida Neoma (Gipson) Matthews. She departed this life Wednesday, July 15, 2009, in Berryville, Ark., at the age of 93.
