E. David Gilliam, 75, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, July 18, 2009.

Born Nov. 25, 1933, in Hot Springs, to John and Pearl Gillham, he was a 1951 graduate of Lakeside High School and member of its first football team, owned and operated David Gilliam Electric Co., was a member of the board of directors for Hillcrest Children’s Home and Teen Challenge of Arkansas, member of Gideon’s International and deacon and adult Sunday school teacher for Lakeview Assembly of God Church.
