Mildred Cheek Martin, 87, of Hot Springs, died Friday, July 24, 2009, at a local hospital.

Born Sept. 15, 1921, at Sulphur Township, to Cedric and Stella Johnson, she was predeceased by her parents, husband, Woodrow Dean Martin, daughter, Joy Cheek France, son, Douglas Glen Cheek, daughter-in-law, Christy Martin, two brothers, Earl Johnson and Merle Johnson, and a sister, Madge Tankersley.
