Glenn H. Minton, 91, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, July 25, 2009, in a local hospital. Born June 8, 1918 in Avant, Ark., to Henry A. and Beatrice D. Giddens Minton, he was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was retired from the Arkansas State Police after 20 years, retired from Weyerhaeuser Security after 15 years, member of Arkansas State Police Retirees Association.

Survivors include a nephew and his wife, Jim and Arnita Minton, of Mount Ida, three great-nephews, Mike Minton, Patrick Minton and Bo Minton.
