Freda S. CoxFreda S. “Jimmie” Cox, 91, of Hot Springs, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1918, to the late Fred and Leona Cecil Springstead, in North Little Rock, Ark. She retired from Hot Springs Rehabilitation Center and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Melba R. RollinsSANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Melba R. Rollins, 70, of Santa Clarita, Calif., died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009. She was born March 6, 1939, in Hot Springs, Ark., Melba was a longtime resident of Hot Springs and graduated from Lakeside High School in 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and James A. HillJames Allen Hill, 63, of Hot Springs, passed away at home Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born to Hollis Hamilton Hill Sr. and Hazel Louise Welch Hill, of Hot Springs.

Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Kharra had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life.

Marie was born Oct. 23, 1925, in West Columbia, Texas, to Charles O. and Mabel Nash Pollard; Frank was born Aug. 20, 1924, in New York, N.Y., to W.H. and Evelyn Pool.
