HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE- Lynn Arwood Brown, 84, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., died Sept. 10, 2009.

He was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Augusta, Ark., to the late Lester Yarborough Brown and Forrest Brown. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was wounded during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. He graduated from Little Rock Junior College and Southern Methodist University. Mr. Brown married his high school friend, Betty May, on May 5, 1950. He was a member of Balboa Baptist Church and had served as a deacon.
