MALVERN – Ermon E. Carlisle, 84, of Malvern, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, in a Malvern hospital.

Born Aug. 16, 1925, in Hickory Plains, to Granville and Wayne Carlisle, he was Methodist. He was predeceased by one sister, Olga A. Carlisle.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ruby Jean Carlisle; one aunt, Maxine Walters; two cousins; one sister-in-law, Ann McCarville; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Shadowlawn Cemetery with Bryan Diffie officiating.

Burial will be in Shadowlawn Mausoleum.
