James M. Hogue


James M. “Jim” Hogue, 85, of Hot Springs, died Friday, Oct. 30, 2009.

Born Aug. 16, 1924, in Morgantown, W.Va., to Chauncey and Agnes Schenck Hogue, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and member of the 535th Battalion in the Normandy Invasion, member of The Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist and its choir and volunteer for St. Joseph’s Mercy Health Center. He was predeceased by one sister, Anna Marie, and one wife, Helen Irene Schultz Hogue.
