Katy Emerson, 78, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009.

Born March 29, 1931, in Amity, to Clifford Cleo and Mary Eliza Mitchell Walker, she was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Paul “Bub” Emerson.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Michael Paul Emerson, of Hot Springs, and Aaron Christopher and Kimberly Emerson, of Lowell, and two grandchildren, Samuel Paul Emerson and Mary Kathryn “Katy” Emerson.

The service will be 10 a.m. Monday in Lowe Cemetery, Royal, with the Rev. Joel Moody officiating.
