I wish to express my appreciation to The Sentinel-Record for providing continuous and unbiased coverage of the current national discussion regarding health care reform, as well as providing the opportunity for individuals like me to join in the local discussion through letters to the editor. As world events unfold and we contrast the brutal stifling of honest debate in non-democratic countries, I am reminded how precious are freedom of speech and freedom of the press for examining all sides of potentially contentious issues like health care reform.
