Dear editor:

I studied psychology and you learn really quickly that things are not as they seem. Let’s talk about those campaign ads. The real aim of these distracting, misleading and negative political ads is not to make you vote for someone, but to make you so disgusted with politics that you’ll stay home altogether.

Spoil this cynical scheme and vote on the issues that matter. Remember Florida in the 2000 election of Bush over Gore. I have talked to so many people who say they didn’t steal the vote from Gore; I don’t have enough paper to get into that.
