In your column published June 20, 2009, you have made at least a couple of errors.

1. Concerning the joke by David Letterman about Sarah Palin’s daughter, the daughter who attended the ball game with Sarah Palin is 14 years old, not an 18-year-old unwed mother. Therefore, Letterman’s joke was about statutory rape, not unwed motherhood. That girl’s sexuality “should be treated deferentially when it is broached at all.” It should be your duty “to stick up for her and demand the apology.” But, then, you are not a conservative.
