I want to commend Steven Rittenmeyer, whose letter appeared in the July 1 issue, where he challenges those demanding that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights be held inviolable. Like Rittenmeyer, I am puzzled by the premise of such demands when in the present administration, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are being observed much more than in the last eight years under the Bush administration.
