Hot Springs City Manager Lance Hudnell was recently appointed chairman of the Arkansas Municipal League’s Public Safety Advisory Council, according to Fort Smith Vice Mayor Gary Campbell, newly-elected league president.

The position entails chairing the league’s Public Safety Advisory Council, attending executive committee meetings and serving as a member of the steering committee of the Municipal Legal Defense Program.

The league, founded in 1934, serves Arkansas cities and towns through legislative advocacy, benefits programs, training and publications.
