Local man pleads guilty to felony drug charge
A local man was sentenced to seven years in prison, with the sentence to be suspended, after pleading guilty Tuesday to a felony drug charge in Garland County Circuit Court.
Ike Dean Harrison Jr., 25, was originally charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, punishable by up to life in prison, and was set to stand trial Tuesday, but appeared with his attorney, Brent Miller, to plead guilty to an amended charge of possession of cocaine. Harrison, who had no prior felony convictions, was also fined $250 and ordered to pay $545 in court costs...
