The Arkansas Fallen Firefighters’ Memorial will relocate to the Hot Springs Convention Center on July 29, for the 2009 Arkansas EMT Association Convention.

The 6,500-pound, 12-foot-high, five-figure bronze statue, now located in front of the Central Fire Station, eventually will be installed in a memorial plaza on the west side of the state Capitol.

The statue will be on public display in the exhibit hall of the convention center Thursday, July 30, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday, July 31, from noon-6 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
