Public forum set for proposed water plant
Area residents will get another opportunity tonight to comment on a proposed water treatment plant on Lake Hamilton near Carpenter Dam.
The open forum public hearing will be held at 5:30 p.m. today in Room 205 of the Hot Springs Convention Center, 134 Convention Blvd. “Basically, we’re going to provide another opportunity to receive comments on what’s been proposed,” Deputy City Manager and Director of Public Works Steve Mallett said Monday. “To date we’ve had two open houses and a general information meeting, so this will be the third official public meeting.” Log-In to view full story or view our Registration Guide. | |
